Reconciliation With God

God was in Christ reconciling us to Himself. Our communication with God is restored through reconciliation. Our joy is restored through reconciliation. All things are restored through reconciliation including our mind.

God was in Christ reconciling us to Himself

2 Cor. 5:18-19 18All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s trespasses against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Heb. 2:17 17Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren , that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. 18For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Our communication with God is restored through reconciliation

Luk 18:13 - And the publican,standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful G2433 to me a sinner.

Eph. 2:16 16And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. 18For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Our joy is restored through reconciliation

Rom 5:11 - And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. G2643

All things are restored through reconciliation including our mind

Col. 1:19 19For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 20And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. 21And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
